About the Position:

Are you ready for a summer full of adventure, creativity, and meaningful connections? We are seeking energetic, compassionate, and fun-loving individuals to join our Summer Camp Team! If you have a passion for sports, hiking, cooking, art, and just having a good time, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Support and engage campers in a variety of activities including sports, hiking, cooking, arts and crafts, games, and more.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and fun camp environment for all participants.

• Assist with daily camp operations and ensure camper safety at all times.

• Encourage camper participation, independence, and creativity.

• Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to plan and implement daily schedules.

• Build positive relationships with campers, families, and staff.

• Provide hands-on support and guidance tailored to individual camper needs.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is a plus, but not required - a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important!

• Enthusiastic, patient, and team oriented.

• Passionate about activities like sports, hiking, cooking, and the arts.

• Able to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts).

• Ability to pass a background check.
