Serves as part of the rehabilitation care team and as an expert in developing and implementing developmental performance plans to bridge formal rehabilitation and client activity goals. The performance clinic athletic trainer is responsible for being a part of the performance team with coaching groups of athletes, adults and individuals to reach their highest levels in preparation for competition and life. Qualifications
- Education : 4 Year / Bachelors’ degree, required. Bachelors’ degree in athletic training or equivalent from a CAATE accredited program required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of one year experience as a certified athletic trainer having participated in various administrative, educational or medical support services, required. PMinimum one year experience as a performance professional in a youth, college, hosptial or professional organization, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification : NATABOC Certification (National Athletic Trainers Association-Board of Certification), required. NCBATE licensed or eligible, required. BLS certification within 30 days of hire, required. Industry Certification; preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM, preferred.
- Additional skills required : Excellent presentation skill in various group settings. Strong customer service skills where the client and patient are top priority. Energy and passion for mentoring others to achieve their personal recovery and wellness goals. Social media experience, knowledge and participation. ability to drive and travel between venues as needed.
