Provides oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department(s) including staff scheduling, employee development and coaching, and implementation of workflows and processes. Will assist Orthopedics Operations Manager and Sports Medicine Manager by providing input regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budget(s). Responsible for leadership of athletic training team through staff development, patient care, patient advocacy, and ensuring services are provided to outreach sites per contractual obligations. This individual may perform athletic training duties by skillfully assessing patient/athlete health, providing treatment, and educating patients/athletes regarding injuries. The athletic training supervisor will support continuous quality improvement efforts within the athletic training team and sports medicine and orthopedics departments. Will assist in oversight of efforts to achieve progressive, high-quality service, in all aspects of patient care.Experience:-3 years' experience as an athletic trainer with demonstrated leadership.-Self-motivated individual with critical thinking skills.-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects or assignments at once.-Effective communication skills and conflict resolution capabilities. Certification/licensure Requirements:
- Graduate of CAATE accredited athletic training program.
- NATA board certification (BOC) required upon hire.
- Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire
