Part Time Tour Guide

MUST be available to work on Saturdays.

The hours of operation for the facility are Tuesday-Saturday from 9-5, and they close on Sunday and Monday. Looking for someone to work 16-20 hours per week.

Job Duties - Ensures that all guests to the client Museum receive an exceptional experience. - Performs opening and closing procedures for the facility. - Performs front desk information operations, administrative duties. - Assist in all general daily activities as needed. - Receives ongoing training and development. - Works special events, including set up, and tear down. - Has availability to work during a 7-day-a-week operation, including holidays. - Acts as an ambassador for all community attractions and businesses. - Greet guests, tour groups, etc. - Answer the main phone line at the front desk - Take tour reservation with guests via phone - Greet visitors/groups and give a short overview of the self-guided Museum layout.

Required Skills - Candidates should have a friendly, outgoing personality, and be comfortable interacting with Museum guests - Ability to multi-task - Attention to detail - Clear written and verbal communication - High level of customer service and professionalism.

Some computer experience would be helpful.

Previous experience working in a museum is preferred.

Additional Information - This will be an Onsite position - Should have availability Tuesday-Saturday (closed on Sunday and Monday) Business casual dress code.
