Job Description


This position is located at Outdoor Recreation, Fort McCoy, WI.

Fort McCoy operates one of the premier Outdoor Recreation programs in the Army. Pine View Campground is a large full service campground that includes over 170 campsites and 17 cabins. A well-stocked camp store provides essentials and a wide range of activities are available to guests to include a beach, water sports, fishing, miniature golf, playgrounds, pavilion areas, hiking trails and equipment rental. Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
  • Must have knowledge of a wide range of recreation and sports activities, organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities.
  • Must have basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding for supplies and equipment.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English).
  • Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit).
  • One year experience supervising staff.
  • One year Hospitality experience.
