Job Title: Athletic Trainer Lead, Quality Assurance Department: Ambulatory Services | Sports Medicine Administration The Athletic Training Quality Lead will report directly to the Athletic Training Supervisor that oversees the respective region with guidance from the Director, Sports Medicine Outreach. The Athletic Training Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring consistency in quality and compliance of improvement processes and/or patient care documentation across the entire Sports Medicine Outreach department promoting process improvement principles; and leading quality/process improvement initiatives within Sports Medicine Outreach. The individual will coordinate communication within and between outreach regions; will ensure appropriate education and counseling regarding improvement initiatives, quality and compliance; will recommend improvement plans that move initiatives toward target goals and metrics; and will develop processes and programs leading to best practices within the profession. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and/or related health science field required. State of Ohio Athletic Trainer license and National Athletic Trainers' Association certification. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
