As a Banquet Set-up Supervisor for the Banquets Department at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will supervise and assist in ensuring the appropriate set-up of banquet rooms according to guest specifications and Marcus standards of quality.

What will you be doing?

Develop and implement sustainable training and development programs in order to ensure efficient, competent, and professional service delivery

Assist and supervise banquet set-up staff and ensure all tasks are completed

Inspect storage facilities

Develop working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations

Complete visual inspection and maintenance of banquet and meeting space and check the condition of equipment

Install phone lines in meeting rooms

Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area

Perform other duties as assigned

What do you bring to the role?

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior supervisory experience is preferred

Ability to comprehend and communicate in English in order to provide service as requested by managers, staff, and guests

Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven

Act ethically and honestly in all business practices and build professional relationships by promoting mutual trust
