TEEN CAMP LEADERS

K-5th GRADE CAMP COUSELORS

The City of Bangor Parks and Recreation Department is currently hiring Camp Leads and Camp Counselors for our K-5th Grade and 6th-8th Grade Summer Camp programs.

Position Responsibilities

Camp Counselors plan and supervise games, activities, and crafts that keep campers engaged and active. Staff play an important role in creating a fun, supportive, and safe environment for all participants.

Teen Camp Counselors (Additional Requirements)

Counselors for our Teen Camp will supervise and participate in day trips throughout Maine, helping teens enjoy a variety of off-site experiences. Teen Camp runs three days per week (Monday-Wednesday) for 8 weeks.

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be comfortable driving a 12-passenger van daily
  • Must be at least 25 years old

Pay & Schedule

  • $15.58-$20.33 per hour
  • Flexible schedules between 7:15 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday (K-5th Grade Counselors)
