Lifeguard

Under the supervision of the Aquatic Center Head Guards and Recreation Supervisor. This position will be responsible for safety of patrons, enforcing pool rules, cleaning & maintenance of pool and amenities, assist with record keeping, and attend staff meetings and in-services. Pre-season work begins in April/May, which is optional. Employment is based upon successful completion of the International Lifeguard Training Program. Local training is held in May. Pool hours are 1pm - 7pm Monday - Sunday. Hours are generally 12:30pm - 7pm, 15 - 40 hours per week. Must be 16 years of age EXPECTATIONS UP FRONT COSTS

• Be prompt - Course cost/licensing $140
• Complete entire season (May 25th - Aug. 9th) - Hat/Visor & Sun glasses
• Work Assigned Hours
