Job Description:
The Director of Strength and Conditioning is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for the Department of Athletics and its student-athletes.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree in related field; *Credentialing from National Strength and Conditioning Association ( NSCA ), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist ( CSCS ), or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association ( CSCCA ); *CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Excellent organizational and management skills; *Strong oral and written communication skills; *Flexible schedule; *Thorough knowledge of strength and conditioning programs; *Well-rounded knowledge of a wide variety of sports.

Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
Job Duty:
Develop, implement and supervise the strength and conditioning programs for each sport program at the University;
Job Duty:
Participate in efforts to collect, analyze and report data for the athletic department in the University s planning, assessment, and evaluation processes for institutional effectiveness;
Job Duty:
Assist in the production of outcomes-assessment and long range planning for the athletic department;
Job Duty:
Maintain an inventory and order equipment and supplies as needed for proper maintenance of the weight room facilities;
Job Duty:
Maintain the excellent condition of the weight room facilities;
Job Duty:
Prepare and submit a proposed budget to the Athletic Director;
Job Duty:
Participate in various fundraising activities for the program and the Department;
Job Duty:
Adhere to all NCAA and South Atlantic Conference rules;
Job Duty:
Complete all required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports as necessary for the operation and advancement of the University;
Job Duty:
Teach up to 6 credit hours of appropriate University and/or JFWA courses, the equivalent thereof;
Job Duty:
Other assignments and duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
