Certified Lifeguards/Swim Instructors

POSTING: Corunna Public Schools is looking for Certified Lifeguards/Swim Instructors. We are looking to hire only the best. JOB DESCRIPTION: Lifeguards will warn swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies. Will administer first aid in the event of injury and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary. Instructors will adapt teaching approaches to match the experience and abilities of the program's participants. DISTRICT/COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS: Corunna Public Schools is looking for the best person available. Our district lives its mission statement of preparing an unprecedented number of students to be college and/or career-ready daily. Our district is known for offering quality education in a small-town environment with the amenities of a larger community (our district buildings are five minutes away from Applebee's, Culver's, Meijer, WalMart, etc.). Our county's cost of living is incredibly low. We are a class B school (around 130 students per grade level) with a reputation for higher standards. We have an award-winning inclusive preschool. Our school is the community hub, Homecoming is still a big deal in our small town, which is the county seat. Our community is incredibly supportive of our district as well. We have high-achieving athletic teams and award-winning extra-curricular programs. Despite having many students coming to us via school of choice, our constituents have passed a pair of bond proposals since 2015. All active Corunna employees and EduStaff employees may enroll themselves and their family in the state's first on-site Cavalier Family Health Clinic. The clinic's goal is to provide (in almost all situations) free visits, free prescriptions, and other medical procedures for the active employee and her/his immediate family members.
