Lehman YMCA is seeking a motivated and experienced Boxing Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and inclusive boxing classes for participants of all ages and skill levels. This role focuses on promoting fitness, discipline, and personal growth while fostering a positive and supportive environment aligned with the YMCA's mission of community well-being. Lead: Responsible for leading boxing classes for participants with a range of experience, from beginner to advanced. Motivate: Encourage boxing participants to push themselves and grow in their skills and abilities. Inspire: Build relationships with participants, and invest your time and energy in their aspirations to become more skilled in boxing and self-defense. Requirements Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as: At least 16 years old. Must possess strong human relations skills and the ability to communicate with participants and staff. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to lead a group while maintaining structure and control. Experience in gymnastics is preferred. Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
