Pinetop Country Club is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused private club environment. This role offers an opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow within Troon.

  • Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry.
  • Class A PGA Professional in good standing preferred.
  • PGA Level 2 or higher PGA Apprentice in good standing preferred.
  • Must be able to work on a seasonal basis.
  • 2 years of experience at a golf facility preferred.
  • Private club experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated with desire to promote and market.
  • Service and customer focused attitude.
  • Experienced in written and oral business communication.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Knowledge of online tee sheet systems, preferably ForeTees.
  • Knowledge of tournament software, preferably Golf Genius Tournament Software.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, preferably Jonas Systems.
  • Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
  • Assist the Head Golf Professional with the daily management of golf operations.
  • Support tournament operations and weekly events including planning, promotion, course set-up, scoring, prize distribution, billing, and follow-up.
  • Assist with management of outside service staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Assist in managing golf car operations, practice facility, and club storage service.
  • Assist in inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including ordering, display, and sales.
  • Monitor members' scores, report handicapping to the USGA, and bill members.
  • Maintain a professional manner and image at all times.
  • Assist with staff administration including record keeping and work schedules in accordance with human resource policies.
  • Perform opening and closing duties.
  • Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection.
  • Assist with controlling and managing play.
  • Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments.
