Summer Camp Manager
Description:
ACA seeks a responsible, detail-oriented, and energetic Camp Manager who will assist with implementing the administration and operations of a 9-week arts camp for children and teenagers. Camp programming will run on Mondays through Fridays from June 29- August 28, 2026. The Camp Manager will be on-site from 8:30 to 4:30pm each day. Pay range is $20-24/hr.
Essential Job Functions: ing to the Education & Programs Director, the essential job functions of the Camp Manager will include but are not limited to assisting with the following:
managing logistics of day-to-day camp activities, ensuring efficient operations including check in and check out, transition times, and classroom support
supervising and supporting camp counselors and teachers as needed
anticipating challenges and troubleshooting positive oues
nurturing constructive relationships between staff, instructors, campers, and families in a friendly and supportive environment
Primary behavior and first aid support for campers and staff (CPR/ First aid/medication administration training provided by ACA
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
a passion for arts and education
at least 2-3 years of related work experience
experience working with children and teens
understanding of behavior management
experienceanizing workshops, classes, or camp programs
solidanizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
experience overseeing staff
strongmunication skills
fluency withputers
ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
ability to lift 25 pounds
