We’re currently hiring a Part Time Wellness Coordinator to join our team. This is your opportunity to be part of something truly exceptional.

Hours Needed: Monday 8:30am-2:30pm (teach wellness class at 9am and 1:30pm); Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm (teach wellness class at 9:30am and 1:30pm); Friday 9am-11am (teach wellness class at 9:30am and 10 am)

This part time role will require teaching wellness classes as well as supporting the wellness program through various tasks.

Job Summary: The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for implementation of the wellness classes and programming for their campus(es). They are expected to lead classes, develop programming, conduct fitness testing, and maintain accurate recordkeeping for all wellness services provided through Functional Pathways.

QualificationsEducation and Licensure:

Associate or bachelor's degree from accredited institution preferred, Exercise Science and/or Sports medicine related field a plus; or 1+ years’ experience coordinating Wellness Programs and or teaching group fitness classes.

Must hold current BLS certification; preferred ACSM certification.

Clinical Experience:

Previous group instructor for the adult population

Knowledge and Skills:

one years of experience planning, teaching, and motivating individuals

one years of experience in working with the elderly population

Fluent providing Exercise Prescriptions and conducting individual and group sessions on topics related to all dimensions of wellness.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Must possess characteristics such as good written and verbal communication, innovative, a self-starter, and team player.

Continuing Education:

Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities to stay updated with advancements in the field.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods to evaluate and treat patients.

Physical strength and dexterity to facilitate therapeutic activities, assist with transfers, and use equipment.

Capacity to lift and position patients as needed during therapy sessions.
