Oversee daily operations of the aquatic facility
Ensure safe and efficient pool operations during all operating hours
Conduct daily facility walk-throughs and inspections
Monitor deck activity and enforce pool policies and procedures
Supervise Lifeguards and Instructors
Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback
Maintain and enforce the Emergency Action Plans
Ensure staff readiness for emergency response situations
Conduct or assist with lifeguard in-service training sessions
Oversee daily water chemistry testing and documentation
Ensure proper chemical levels and regulatory compliance
Address patron concerns and complaints professionally
Support a positive guest experience
Assist with special events, rentals, and programming
Maintain incident reports and safety documentation
Track staff certifications and training compliance
Education and/or Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older and have at least 2 years of lifeguarding experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid and appropriate drivers license and must possess Lifeguard/First Aid, CPR Professional Rescuer and AED certification through the American Red Cross or a nationally recognized equivalent. Certified Pool Operator or Aquatics Facility Operator certification preferred.
