OPEN POSITIONS - WATER BALLET INSTRUCTOR

As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Water Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while continuing to relate to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole. They will also be responsible for monitoring activities within the water ballet programming to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age of 18.
• Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate, and experience with water ballet.
• Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim program for students looking to learn about the sport of synchronized swimming.
• Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.
• The physical, visual, and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
• The ability to organize a recital and coordinate with dance instructors for the annual summer recital. Duties to include determining the number of routines and allocation of time, organizing the group routines for opening and finale, choosing a theme, organizing music and speaker, and development of program.

Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.50 per hour
