Description:

Instruct high school athletes in the development of skills and teamwork while instilling sports ethics, rules and safety. Develop a strong team environment, which includes respect for the school, opponents, officials and the community.

Qualifications:

1. Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education experience working with students with social and emotional challenges preferred.

3. Knowledge of the sport through participation, clinics and / or prior coaching experience.
4. Coaching certification through the Maine Principals Association
5. First Aid and CPR.
