Athletic Director

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate and work effectively with administrative colleagues, staff, students, coaches, and parents (listening, speaking, and writing skills)
• Passionate for school athletics
• Must pass all required background checks

Preferred:

• Minimum of 3 years successful teaching/administrative experience
• Experience in coaching athletics
• Strong leadership experience
• Indiana Teacher's or Administrator's License

Duties:

• Oversee all aspects of the athletic programs that are sponsored by a school or an institution
• Hiring of staff for athletic programs, ordering equipment for teams, and promoting events/matches/meets.
• Budgeting and allocating funds; facilitating operations
• Participate in fundraising for the overall program and provide guidance to the coaches of each athletic program and Athletic Booster Program
• Responsible for supervision of athletic personnel, events, and resolving any administrative issues with assistance of site administration
• Scheduling supervision of practices, games, events, and sports facilities
• Marketing SKSC athletics to our school community
• Other duties as assigned

Contract: July 1 - June 30, 191 days

Compensation: TBD - based on education and experience
