Certified Lifeguard - The Finn Apartments

We are looking for a Certified Lifeguard for The Finn location. This community has 608 units and is located in Hazelwood, MO. As the Certified Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of our residents, enforcing policies and safety regulations.

Schedule: Seasonal until Labor Day 2026. Wednesday - Sunday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be on duty at all times when pool is open for use by residents
  • Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Enforce policies, rules and regulations
  • Ensure the safety of residents
  • Assist all residents/guests at pool and requests courteously and efficiently
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all supplies and work area
  • Periodically, straighten out pool furniture, move items found in walkways and pick up any trash in and around pool area
  • Attendance is an essential function of the job

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proof of lifeguard certification including First Aid/CPR/AED from a nationally recognized agency is required
  • 1+ years of experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Holidays and weekends are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred

Physical Demands: Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light and heavy loads, 0lbs - 50lbs+), climbing stairs, walking and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to use and wear required safety equipment.
