Position Summary
No prior experience necessary, but preferred skills include familiarity with a sport (as a player or coach). Previous officiating experience, but training clinics to NIRSA rules are offered. Must attend appropriate training sessions, complete rules exams, and on-field/on-court evaluations before being hired. Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to learn, positive attitude, hustle, ability to accept feedback, willingness to improve throughout the season.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Some sports require ACTIVE LABOR (i.e. jog, run, and/or sprinting). Implement policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety during Intramural Sports.
