PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be stationed in the lifeguard chair and supervise the safety and rescue of swimming participants.

Set up required equipment for class activity and put away at the end of the day;

Supervise locker rooms and hallways before and after class;

Assist in record keeping where necessary;

Assist in intramural activities with a qualified teacher;

Supervises, as needed, athletic teams until the coach arrives to assume his/her responsibilities;

Performs related work as assigned.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency diploma.

Must possess a current Lifeguard Training Certification.

Preferred possession of current First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation cards.

Must have a basic knowledge of physical education activities.
