Become a Private Swim Instructor with 805Lifeguard and deliver personalized lessons in the comfort of our clients' own pools. We are hiring experienced, patient, and energetic Private Swim Instructors for one-on-one and small-group swim lessons at private homes and exclusive community pools throughout the greater Conejo Valley, Ventura County, and surrounding communities including Lake Sherwood, North Ranch, Spanish Hills, Calabasas, Ventura, Malibu, Somis, Ojai, and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Conduct private and semi-private swim lessons tailored to each client's age, skill level, and goals Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety, and confidence-building skills Create engaging, progressive lesson plans Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism at every session Qualifications: 2+ years of swim instruction or coaching experience (private lessons preferred) Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain - see below) Strong swimming ability and comfort teaching all ages and abilities Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Professional, friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills Background check required What We Offer: Highly competitive hourly pay ($28-$45 DOE) Complete scheduling flexibility choose the days and times that work best for you Opportunity to build your own client base while being supported by our established local brand Work in beautiful private home pools and estates with motivated families Certification Support Program: We invest in motivated candidates!
