Nature Preserve Ranger/Recreation Coordinator

Bay Creek Resort, located in Cape Charles, VA , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Nature Preserve Ranger/Recreation Coordinator ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities; answers guest questions regarding such programs
• Records all cash, check, and charge transactions based on established cash control procedures
• Maintains understanding of operating procedures for the pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment
• Completes checklists for opening, closing, and daily procedures
• Takes direction from the Facility Coordinator, Special Events and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation Coordinator
• Assists in the implementation of programs, including youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events
• Provides a safe environment within facilities and activities
• Processes recreation reservations as needed
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Plant and Wildlife knowledge
• Certifications Preferred but not required
