Anticipated .5 Assistant Athletic Director

This position is a halftime position working 110 Days.Job goals: To assist in the coordination and supervision of athletic programs at NMS (Noble Middle School) and NHS (Noble High School), with primary responsibilities at the middle school levels: To help ensure the safety of all athletes To help improve coaching skills and knowledge To promote the skill development of young athletes To promote athletic participation Typical work year: 110 DaysPerformance Responsibilities: Ensure that student-athletes have fully completed all necessary sign-up steps for athletics prior to participation at NMS Maintain, Distribute, Collect, and Store athletic uniforms and equipment Assist with the coordination and scheduling of buses for away contests Assist with athletic disciplinary infractions Assist in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of coaches Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic, behavioral concerns with NMS student-athletes Provide supervision at assigned athletic events - including: Properly setting up fields of play, when applicable or necessary - Ensuring the safety of all persons in attendance - Welcoming opposing teams, coaches, and officials (working with Arbiter/assignors of officials) - Securing and assisting game workers - Monitoring athlete and fan behavior All other duties assigned by the District Athletic Director
