Job Overview

The specialists at M Health Fairview Sports Medicine Clinics include team physicians, certified athletic trainers, and physical therapists. We know sports injuries come in all shapes and sizes, and we are experts in the full range of chronic and acute problems related to living an active lifestyle. We specialize in treating athletes of any caliber and returning them to the game as quickly and safely as possible. We focus on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, as well as injury prevention.

What you will do as an Athletic Trainer :

  • Coordinates prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid), rehabilitation and reconditioning of injuries as set forth by the NATA Board of certification
  • Provides all prescribed treatments and recommendations by attending physician
  • Communicates optimally with patients and other members of the healthcare team
  • Acts as a liaison between the patient being treated and the attending physician
  • Completes appropriate continuing education to maintain license and certification(s)

What you will need:

  • BOC Certified with an active Minnesota State Athletic Training License
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience in an athletic training setting preferred

Location: M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455

Hours: 40 hours/week

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
