Athletic Trainer

Novant Health Sports Medicine is hiring a PRN Licensed Athletic Trainer to support Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. Athletic trainers must be licensed in the appropriate state as an athletic trainer. They act under the supervision of a physician and must adhere to the protocols and guidelines as required by the licensing agency. The protocols must be written in collaboration with the supervising physician and reviewed annually.

• primarily working to provide coverage for athletic events and as needed to fill in for full time team members

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, r equired. Graduate from an accredited athletic training program, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: 2 years, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses as required prior to first day of employment, required. Successfully pass BOC exam, required. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification, required. Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, BFR, Dry Needling or similar, preferred.
• Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask.
