Summary

The Quality Control Monitor is a position within the security and protective service field of work.

The QC Monitors will closely monitor the overall performance of the contractor, to include equipment, uniform and appearance, attendance and/or compliance with the SOW, possession of required licenses and permits, and current firearms qualification. Responsible for delivery of services as described in the applicable Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The NWDTP Instructor is a position within the security and protective service field of work.

The NWDTP Instructor is responsible for possessing and providing appropriate certifications and training for staff on X-Ray NWDTP curriculum. Responsible for delivery of services as described in the applicable Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The Training Instructor is a position within the security and protective service field of work.

The Training Instructor is responsible for possessing and providing appropriate certifications and training for staff in areas to include First Aid, CPR, AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms instruction. Responsible for delivery of services as described in the applicable Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and management to the functional area QC Representatives (QCRs) as well as subcontractor teammates within our facilities support services project
  • Ensures our QC Program includes executive management involvement at all levels
  • Defines responsibilities, authorities, and interrelationships for all workforce personnel
  • Outlines comprehensive documentation, QC measures, inspection programs, internal audits, personnel training, and master file of QC inspections (includes inspections scheduled and performed, results of completed inspections, and dates/details of any corrective actions taken)
  • Develops, implements, and oversees adherence to procedures and policies relating to the project's Quality Plan
  • Implements a working relationship with and develops an interface to the Government's Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
  • Develops, implements, and maintains the project's Quality Manual
  • Submits a weekly Quality Control Report for each functional area identified in the contract and the Customer Feedback Program.
  • Ensures compliance with the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards through a system of internal audits
  • Establishes methods for implementing process controls and inspection of all work
  • Prepares reports of inspection results, audits, and composes replies to Government performance deficiency reports
  • Produces information utilized during management reviews and conducts the reviews
  • Assists all functional and staff office managers and branch supervisors in developing Customer Satisfaction Indicators (CSls) and Key Process Indicators (KPls} for the project
  • Evaluates KPI and other performance data monthly and provides trend analysis at management reviews
  • Manages the project's Customer Feedback Program and evaluates all data generated from customer input; briefs the PM, staff office managers and branch supervisors on customer complaints/concerns, satisfaction surveys, and steps taken to preclude recurrence at monthly reviews
  • Complete and/or maintain an approved and accredited Principles of Instruction course or similar training (NRA, Police Academy, state POST Academy, FLETC, or military training course) certifying the individual as an instructor showing competency in the performance areas of:
    • Presentation skills
    • Student-centered learning
    • Performance Objective Development
    • Testing and assessment
    • Training tools and technology
    • Lesson plan development
    • Presentation graphics
    • Instructional methodologies
    • Evaluating laboratories and practical exercises
  • Complete and/or maintain an approved course of study as an Instructor for expandable baton, Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray, defensive tactics, and handcuffing training certifying the individual as an instructor showing competency in the performance areas of:
    • Baton employment philosophy
    • Baton Nomenclature
    • Baton Chart and Zone Defense
    • Baton Grips, Carries, Draws, Blocks and Strikes
    • Baton Retention
    • Characteristics and Delivery
    • Methods of Carry, Drawing, and Spraying Techniques

    • Handgun marksmanship
    • Handgun handling techniques
    • Firearms safety and range organization

  • Complete and/or maintain an approved certification to perform first aid, CPR, and AED instruction certifying the individual as an instructor showing competency in the performance of appropriate areas.
  • Other duties as assigned by management and/or supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience in monitoring the quality assurance of performance contracts involving personnel
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience in civilian community law enforcement, or military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service
  • Must have Training certifications for each of the following areas: First Aid, CPR, AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms instruction.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a Federal background check
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
