Your day-to-day responsibilities as the Event Coordinator will include: Lead Fundraising Events: Plan and execute all New Ground fundraising events from start to finish, including logistics, communications, and donor follow-up. Support Office Operations: Assist with front desk duties, donation intake, pantry organization, and volunteer coordination. Manage Communications: Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and event materials using Canva and Constant Contact. Maintain Donor Database: Ensure accuracy and consistency in Donor Perfect, process donations, and generate donor acknowledgments. Collaborate on Development Efforts: Work with committees, the Young Professionals Board, and the Director of Development to support strategic fundraising initiatives. To succeed, you should have: 3+ years of experience in event planning or nonprofit fundraising/development required. Bachelor or Associate Degree highly preferred. Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, donor CRM systems (Donor Perfect preferred), and graphic design (i.e. Canva) required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Flexible schedule with ability to work occasional evenings/weekends; valid driver's license and vehicle required.
