Activity Coordinator Jobs in New York
An Activity Coordinator in the fitness and recreation industry is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a diverse range of activities and programs to engage members and promote health, fitness, and well-being. They work closely with staff and clients to identify their needs and interests, develop tailored fitness programs, and monitor the success and participation of these activities. Certifications like Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or CPR/AED certification could also be required. Prior to becoming an Activity Coordinator, individuals might have roles such as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or Sports Coach to gain practical experience in the field.
