A Lifeguard is a vital role in the fitness and recreation industry, responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals utilizing pools, lakes, or beaches. They monitor activities, enforce rules and safety protocols, and provide assistance to individuals in danger. Lifeguards are trained to respond quickly and effectively to water emergencies, perform lifesaving procedures, and administer first aid or CPR as needed. To be effective, a Lifeguard needs strong swimming skills, excellent physical fitness, and a keen awareness of their surroundings.
