Yoga Instructor Jobs in Texas
A Yoga Instructor in the fitness and recreation industry primarily leads group classes, instructing clients on the various poses, breathing techniques, and meditations involved in yoga. They are responsible for ensuring that each participant in their class is performing the exercises correctly and safely, and may provide modifications or adjustments as needed. Important skills for a Yoga Instructor include strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. In terms of certifications, most employers require a minimum of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program accredited by the Yoga Alliance.
