Extra Care - Summer Day Camp Director

The Ferndale Parks and Recreation Department is seeking responsible and energetic leaders to serve as the Extra Care Supervisors for its state-licensed Summer Day Camp program. This position oversees the Morning and After Care programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for campers before and after the regular camp day. The Extra Care Supervisor manages daily extra care operations, supervises extra care staff, and maintains strong communication with parents and camp leadership in ensuring a smooth transition between extra care and regular camp activities.
