Assistant Golf Professional

The Assistant Golf Professional supports the daily golf operations of a public golf course, ensuring an outstanding experience for all guests. This role combines customer service, tournament operations, instruction, merchandising, and staff support while promoting the game of golf in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily golf shop operations, POS transactions, and tee time flow
• Provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume environment
• Assist with tournaments, leagues, and special events
• Help maintain pace of play and course policies
• Provide individual and group instruction as assigned
• Support merchandising, inventory, and retail sales
• Assist with staff training and supervision; act as professional on duty when needed

Qualifications

• PGA Member or Associate preferred (or willingness to enroll)
• Experience in high-volume golf or customer-service environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
