Athena Coding is an enrichment provider offering engaging, hands-on summer programs for elementary students. We are seeking a summer instructor to lead a one-week camp in Minecraft Coding and Design Studio.

In this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of coding and game design through Minecraft, building problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration in a fun, interactive environment.

The camp runs from June 15-18. Each class session runs approximately 1.5 hours per day. All lesson plans and materials are provided.

Responsibilities:

Lead engaging, age-appropriate classes for a group of approximately 10-15 students.

Follow provided curriculum and lesson structure.

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed environment.

Encourage student participation and creativity.

Communicate with program staff regarding daily progress.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, etc.) is preferred.

No experience with coding needed, but an interest in STEM, technology or games is nice to have.

Reliable, punctual, and professional.
