Facility Overview
Located in Salisbury, the club serves a strong and growing membership of nearly 600. It is the home course for Catawba College and Livingstone College, contributing to a highly active golf environment.
The club has more than doubled its annual rounds over the past decade and continues to invest in its golf operation as a core part of the member experience.

Requirements
- PGA Associate (Level 1 preferred) or enrolled/eligible for the PGA Professional Golf Management Program
- Passion for teaching and growing the game
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Private club experience is a plus, but not required
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on, all-around golf professional role with a strong emphasis on development:
- Lead daily golf shop operations and member interactions
- Serve as the professional on duty and make real-time operational decisions
- Run and assist with tournaments, leagues, and weekly games
- Teach lessons, clinics, and junior programs (immediate opportunities available)
- Help grow junior golf and player development programs
- Assist with outside operations staff management
- Manage pace of play and first tee experience
- Gain experience in merchandising, inventory, and retail strategy
- Support marketing, events, and member engagement
