In Search of Music Event Coordinator - Part- Time (City of Chicago) compensation: Per Event, plus supplemental Part-Time Event Coordinator (Chicago | Music | Startup Vibe). This is a re-start-up. Events are currently 40 to 50 attendees, at smaller music venues like Empty Bottle, Lemmings, Gallery Cabaret. For now. We're re-launching something from the ground up a music-focused organization and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of building it, not just working a job. Right now, the events are small and informal (think house parties, low-key gatherings, pop-up style). That's intentional. We're starting lean, testing ideas, and growing from there. We need someone who can help coordinate and be present at these events someone organized, reliable, and comfortable figuring things out as we go. The Role (for now): One or Two hours a week, mostly during the week of the event--and then the event itself. Help keep things running smoothly. Compensation: $300 to $400 per event (negotiable depending on scope/experience) + Supplemental if necessary Who This Is For: You live in Chicago (this is a must) You have lived in Chicago many years. (Not a must, but very helpful) You're organized but not rigid You like music / creative environments You don't need everything mapped out you can roll with it Why This Could Be Interesting: This is early.
