Assistant Golf Professional

• Frasch Golf Course is seeking an enthusiastic, service-driven Assistant Golf Professional to join our team in Sulphur, Louisiana. This position is ideal for a PGA Associate or aspiring golf professional looking to gain valuable leadership experience in a fast-paced, player-focused golf environment.
• The Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in daily golf operations while helping create an exceptional experience for members, guests, daily-fee players, and tournament participants. Candidates should possess a strong passion for the game, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to growing within the golf industry.

• Frasch Golf Course is a busy 18-hole public golf course located in Sulphur, Louisiana. The facility features a strong and growing golf community, an active tournament schedule, and a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. Frasch Golf Course offers a variety of junior golf programs and continues to expand its player development and golf instruction initiatives, creating excellent opportunities for PGA Associates interested in teaching, programming, and professional growth.

• PGA Associate status preferred or a strong desire to pursue PGA Membership
• Previous golf operations, golf shop, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of the game of golf and golf operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Professional demeanor with a positive, energetic attitude

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the golf shop, including opening and closing procedures
• Deliver a high level of customer service and hospitality to all golfers and guests
• Manage tee sheets, reservations, and player flow through ForeUP software
• Assist with outside staff management, cart operations, and daily player services
• Support merchandising, retail sales, and inventory control initiatives
• Provide golf instruction, player assistance, and support for player development programs
• Monitor pace of play and ensure an enjoyable on-course experience
• Assist with tournaments, outings, junior golf programs, clinics, and special events
• Enforce club and course policies in a professional and welcoming manner
• Work closely with management to enhance golf operations and overall player satisfaction
