Head Boys Golf Coach

Claremore Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Head Boys Golf Coach at Claremore High School.

Claremore Boys Golf is a competitive Class 5A program with a strong tradition of student-athlete development and recent championship-level success. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of the high school boys golf program while continuing to promote excellence in academics, character, sportsmanship, and competition.

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing all aspects of the boys golf program
• Organizing practices, competitions, and offseason development
• Developing student-athletes both on and off the course
• Building positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members
• Supporting the mission and expectations of Claremore Public Schools athletics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coaching and/or competitive golf experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to education-based athletics
• Ability to positively mentor and develop student-athletes
• Oklahoma Teaching Certification or a candidate for obtaining an Oklahoma State Teaching Certificate
• Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries
