Head Women's Flag Football Coach MARSHALL, TX 75670 Apply Apply Description Wiley University Athletics seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Head Women's Flag Football Coach. This position is responsible for establishing and leading a competitive intercollegiate program, recruiting and developing student-athletes, and overseeing all aspects of program operations in alignment with university and conference standards. Qualifications Job Duties Recruit, evaluate, and identify prospective student-athletes Advise student-athletes on academic planning and monitor eligibility Develop student-athletes' skills, discipline, and knowledge of the game Manage and administer the program budget, including fundraising initiatives Hire, supervise, and mentor assistant coaches and support staff Coordinate scheduling of games, practices, travel, and equipment procurement Maintain and oversee practice and competition facilities Ensure timely completion of all administrative and compliance reporting Oversee all game day operations Represent Wiley University Athletics with professionalism and integrity Travel, including overnight and weekend commitments, as required Perform additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Department Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Prior coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate or competitive level Strong knowledge of collegiate flag football rules and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Preferred Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university Experience building or leading a new athletic program Demonstrated success in recruiting and student-athlete development Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Comprehensive understanding of flag football strategy, player development, and recruiting Ability to manage all aspects of program administration and compliance with NAIA and HBCUAC Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills Commitment to academic excellence and holistic student-athlete development Ability to operate within university, conference, and national governing body regulations Physical Demands / Working Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as require
