Activites Coordinator

The Town of Erving, Massachusetts is seeking candidates for the part-time (20-hours/week, Monday-Friday), benefitted position of Activities Coordinator to work at the Senior & Community Center. Under the direction of the Director of Senior Services, the Activities Coordinator oversees event scheduling and organizes various programs. This includes the coordination and supervision of all aspects of the Department's volunteer program, including the screening and training of all volunteers. The Coordinator plans activities, coordinates the senior transportation program, attends special events and monitors all programs. The Coordinator actively engages with seniors in the community.

Qualifications
An Associate's degree in a discipline related to human services, hospitality services or business; minimum of two to three (2 to 3) years in a human services related field, or experience in volunteer recruitment and coordination; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Special Requirements
First Aid & CPR Certification
